Dr Liu Yang is jointly appointed as an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Department of Industrial Systems Engineering and Management at the National University of Singapore, where she leads the Lab for Urban Mobility Systems (LUMOS). Her teaching and research cover transport planning and modelling, urban mobility and logistics, traffic congestion management and data-driven methods. Previously a consultant at Cambridge Systematics, she has worked on research projects supported by the Land Transport Authority, the Urban Redevelopment Authority, A*STAR and ST Engineering. Her work has been recognised internationally, including with the Transportation Science Journal Best Paper Award. She holds a Ph.D. from Northwestern University.
