Liu Daizong is currently East Asia director of the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy (ITDP). From 2015 to 2023, he served as director of the Sustainable Cities Department and communications director at the World Resources Institute China. In 2022, he was hired as a visiting professor at the School of Architecture and Landscape of Peking University. Daizong has more than 20 years of working experience in sustainable urban development strategy, planning and design, and sustainable transportation development policy, planning and design. He obtained a Master’s degree in civil engineering from National University of Singapore, and a Bachelor’s degree in transportation engineering from Southeast University in China.
