Junichi Hirose graduated in electric and electronic engineering from the National Nara Technical College in 1970. He has been working on creating several international standards in the area of ITS since 2003 for the purpose of disseminations of Japanese ITS social deployment plans and activities. His latest task as a Convenor Lead is to create international standards for sustainable cities and communities, sustainable mobility and transportation.
