Syukri holds a pivotal role in enhancing Malaysia’s road safety. He leads vehicle safety research, presenting findings to the national transport ministry to shape the national road safety policies. As a national regulation committee member, he contributes to vehicle regulations and oversees crash tests under ASEAN NCAP standards. He also leads motorcycle crash tests, drives ABS installation regulation, and involves in MyMAP’s safety rating program. Beyond testing, Syukri actively educates road users and serves on the national crash investigation team, analyzing accident causes to recommend effective safety measures.
